Coupling bridge 250A – safe and precise connection

The HZ157 bridge is used to create electrical connections between isolation switches of series HA354, HA454 or other devices compliant with standard PN-EN 60947-3:2009/A2:2015-11. It is a structural element that eliminates the need for additional wiring between phases – instead it simply connects the terminals directly, in a simplified and reliable way.

It functions solely as a passive conductive element – it has no switching or disconnecting function. Its purpose is simple: to provide a permanent, low‑impedance current connection between the terminals of a switch with a rated current of 250 A. This means the installer can use it in circuits with high loads – e.g., powering pumps, compressors or heating systems – without risk of overheating or loss of contact.

Why it works well?

• It is made from materials with high conductivity and arc resistance – it is not an ordinary busbar, but a component designed to work with Hager isolation switches.
• It fits precisely onto the terminals of HA354 (3P) and HA454 (4P) switches – no adjustment or modification needed. It drops into place and works.
• No tools are required for installation – just place it on the terminals and ensure it is properly seated. No screws, no threads – minimizing human error.
• It works with HZC203 covers – which protect against accidental contact with live conductors. This is not an optional accessory; it is part of the safety system.
• Weight 0.68 kg – light, but not “lighter” than it should be. There is no “cheating” in the material.

When to use it?

When you install distribution boards with 250 A isolation switches and you want:

• To reduce the number of conductors between phases,
• To avoid errors when installing copper conductors,
• To increase installation speed without loss of quality,
• To ensure a uniform connection along the entire bus length.

Do not use it as an isolator. Do not use it as a breaker. Do not attempt to install it on devices outside the HA/HI series. It is a specialized accessory – and it works great… but only where it is intended.
