Connecting bridge for HIC 160A disconnectors

The HZI401 bridge connects two four-pole HIC 160A disconnectors, enabling circuit coordination without the need for additional wiring. This component is essential when assembling distribution boards where synchronous power supply or simultaneous disconnection of multiple circuits is required.

The integrated terminals are designed for direct mounting onto the HIC disconnector busbars—no additional screws or tools are needed. Installation is quick and requires no precise adjustment: simply slide the bridge into place and ensure the contacts are fully inserted. The absence of play and stable conductivity are guaranteed by the metal construction, which matches the original terminal profile.

It is not suitable for use as an insulating element or as a protective device—it functions solely as a current conductor between two devices. Its purpose is to ensure electrical continuity, not protection.

Compliant with the EU Declaration of Conformity for HIC disconnectors and other devices in the HZ… series, confirming its compatibility with the Hager system. It has no switching function and cannot be used as a manual isolator.
