Universal blank cover for Vector IP55 switchboards

The VZ415 blanking plate is a blanking element designed to close empty spaces in Hager Vector IP55 series electrical switchboards. It serves two primary functions - protects against accidental contact with live components and improves the aesthetics of the electrical panel.

The product is used wherever unused modules remain in the switchboard - e.g., after an installation expansion or during the initial equipment stage, when some circuits are yet to be implemented. Installation is simple and requires no additional tools.

Construction and dimensions

Made of plastic in light gray color with number RAL 7035 - a standard shade used in electrical installation equipment. The surface is lacquered, which ensures resistance to minor scratches and facilitates cleaning.

The width is 219 mm, which corresponds to 12 modules in a standard modular system. The height of the blanking plate is 54 mm, which is the same as the height of one row of modules in the Vector IP55 switchboard - this allows it to perfectly fill the empty space without gaps or play.

Compliance with standards and substance restriction

The blanking plate meets the requirements of EU directives regarding the restriction of hazardous substances:

• RoHS - compliance confirmed by the manufacturer's declaration,
• REACH - free of SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern).

The product is not covered by the WEEE directive due to its character as an auxiliary element for switchboards.

System compatibility

The VZ415 blanking plate fits all Hager switchboard enclosures from the Vector IP55 series.
