Compliant with IEC 60269-6, the gPV category indicates that the fuse link operates across the entire current range – from minor overloads to maximum short circuits. The rated current of 10 A and voltage of 1000 V DC correspond to standard parameters of strings in residential and medium-sized installations. Power loss at rated current is 2.58 W, indicating low thermal losses during normal operation and, consequently, reduced stress on the fuse base. The ceramic fuse link with a single-sided blow indicator (stirnkennmelder) allows for quick identification of a blown element without the need to dismantle the entire assembly.
