VDI Distribution Box – Solid Protection and Installation Flexibility

The VDI N/T 3R distribution box is a practical solution for organizing and protecting electrical installations in residential, commercial, and public buildings. The construction with a white housing, made of high-quality plastic, ensures an aesthetic appearance and durability. Thanks to the surface mounting option, installation is simple and does not require complex construction work.

Functionality and Adaptability

The distribution box has been designed with ease of expansion in mind. It has three rows, allowing for the installation of a large number of modular devices. The set includes two mounting plates and a TH rail, making it easier to install circuit breakers, protective devices and other elements. The width of the distribution box, corresponding to 12 modules, provides enough space for typical installations. The lack of earth and neutral terminal strips is a deliberate simplification of the design – it allows the distribution box to be adapted to the specific needs of the project.

Safety and Compliance with Standards

The housing with an IP30 protection rating protects against accidental contact with live wires and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm. The plastic construction provides electrical insulation and minimizes the risk of short circuits. The housing color (RAL 9010) ensures good visibility in dimly lit rooms. The internal depth of 92.5 mm and the total depth of 96.5 mm allow for comfortable mounting of modular devices with standard dimensions. The door with an opening provides easy access to the inside of the distribution box during maintenance and repairs.
