RECYFIX STANDARD 100 channel, type 80, with cast iron grate, grid GUGI MW 15/25, class C 250 40253
Linear drainage with high load-bearing capacity and resistance to external conditions
The RECYFIX STANDARD 100 type 80 channel is a solution designed for drainage of areas with increased loading – from private driveways to internal roads in commercial facilities. Made of polypropylene, the channel body features a ribbed structure that prevents deformation under load while maintaining low weight – facilitating transport and installation. The height of 80 mm and clear width of 100 mm ensure adequate water flow, even during heavy rainfall.
The GUGI MW 15/25 cast iron grate is an integral part of the system – it is not merely a cover but a load-bearing element with class C 250. This means it can withstand loads up to 25 tons, making it suitable for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Cast iron not only ensures durability but also effectively meets the requirements of the DIN EN 1433 standard – both in terms of strength and operational safety.
Resistance to atmospheric factors and easy installation
The channel body material is resistant to frost, road salt, and UV radiation – it does not crack or yellow even after years of outdoor operation. The grate is symmetrical and secured in an arreted manner, eliminating the risk of displacement or detachment during vehicle movement. The system requires no special tools for installation – standard laying in asphalt or concrete is sufficient, and the tongue-and-groove connection ensures tightness between components.
The total weight of the channel (including the grate) is approximately 5.5 kg – significantly less than metal equivalents. This reduces logistical costs and installation time for the installer. It is also worth noting: no additional galvanizing or painting is required – the black color remains stable and aesthetically pleasing in any environment.
Applications: where does it perform best?
- Driveways to single-family houses
- Parking lots and internal roads in residential complexes
- Green areas – parks, gardens, recreational areas
- Areas collecting rainwater from roofs or sidewalks
- Locations requiring class C 250 – where vehicles regularly operate
This is not a solution for public roads with heavy truck traffic – but for everything below that, it is ideal. It requires no maintenance, does not corrode, and you do not need to worry about its condition after five years.
