Manhole with galvanized sediment trap and cast iron grate, Class C 250
The manhole is designed for operational conditions requiring resistance to heavy loads – from trucks to passenger cars. Load class C 250 (250 kN / 25 tons) ensures stability even under intensive road traffic, without risk of deformation or structural damage.
The body is made of high-quality plastic, characterized by exceptional resistance to atmospheric factors: it does not degrade under the influence of frost, road salt, or UV radiation. This ensures long-term functionality without the need for replacement – particularly important in regions with harsh climatic conditions.
The sediment trap is galvanized, increasing its corrosion resistance and facilitating installation in concrete or asphalt. The GUGI MW 15/25 cast iron grate – grid type – ensures effective water drainage while blocking larger objects (e.g., stones, leaves) that could damage the drainage system. The outlet diameter is 200 mm, allowing smooth water flow even during heavy rainfall.
The ribbed body construction further reinforces the structure, eliminating the risk of bending under vehicle loads. The height of 495 mm enables easy access to the drainage system during maintenance or cleaning – without the need to excavate the entire manhole.
The system is compatible with type 150 channels and functions as an integral part of the drainage line. Installation is simple: the manhole is designed to work with existing channels and can be installed in both new and modernized road facilities, parking lots, or public areas.
Important note: although the grate is made of cast iron, the entire manhole structure contains no metal except for the grate – reducing the risk of corrosion of the whole structure and facilitating transport and installation.
