RECYFIX STANDARD 150 Grating – Galvanized, Class B 125
The grating is made of galvanized steel and designed for installation in RECYFIX STANDARD 150 drainage channels. Its lattice structure with a 30/30 cross-section ensures effective drainage while maintaining stability under moving vehicle loads. Bolted mounting enables quick and safe installation – no welding or additional fixing elements are required.
Load class B 125 indicates that the grating can withstand loads up to 125 kN (12.5 tons), corresponding to typical loads found on urban roads, parking lots, and areas designated for passenger vehicle traffic. It is not intended for heavy truck traffic but is suitable where strength exceeding standard A 15 is required.
Galvanization protects the steel against corrosion – particularly important when exposed to rainwater, road salt, and cyclic freezing/thawing. The structure does not deform under vehicle weight, and its openings allow free water drainage without clogging from leaves or debris.
The system functions as part of a complete drainage channel – it is not a standalone component. Structural support is provided by the plastic channel sides, which transfer the load to the ground. The grating simply “rests” on them and is secured with bolts.
Note: This grating is not suitable for installation in systems with cast iron gratings (e.g., GUGI MW 15/25) – its dimensions and mounting method are specific to the STANDARD 150 series. Compliance with EN 124:2015 (Class B 125) is confirmed by the manufacturer – no additional approval checks are required.
For the installer: installation takes only a few minutes. No specialized tools are needed – just a screwdriver and appropriate screws (supplied separately). For the end user: no change in the appearance of the area after installation – the grating remains invisible beneath the asphalt or paving layer.
