The RECYFIX STANDARD 200 drainage sump is a component of linear drainage systems, designed for operation in areas with moderate traffic intensity, such as sidewalks, cycle paths, and parking areas for passenger cars. The key parameter of this model is the load class B 125, which indicates a pressure resistance of up to 12.5 tons. This level of durability ensures that the structure safely supports the weight of typical passenger vehicles and light delivery vans without deforming under dynamic loads during vehicle passage.

The set includes a galvanized sediment trap, which serves a dual function: it retains larger contaminants (leaves, stones, sand), protecting the sewer network from blockages, while simultaneously providing corrosion protection thanks to the zinc coating. Water discharge occurs through a spigot with a diameter of 200 mm, ensuring adequate flow capacity for channels with a nominal width of 200 mm and enabling efficient removal of large volumes of rainwater even during heavy rainfall.

Body Construction and Grate Installation

The sump body is made of high-quality plastic, characterized by high resistance to atmospheric factors. This material is thermally stable – it does not crack under frost nor soften on hot days. An additional advantage is the ribbed structure of the body walls, which increases the rigidity of the entire unit and prevents deformation during soil compaction around the sump. This allows installers to achieve precise fitting of components without the need for additional reinforcement under standard soil conditions.

Included with the sump is a MW 30/10 grid grate made of galvanized steel. This is a clamping-type solution, which significantly facilitates installation and subsequent maintenance – the grate can be quickly removed without specialized tools to empty the sediment trap of accumulated deposits. The galvanized surface protects the metal grate from rusting in humid environments saturated with road salts. The body width is 256 mm, allowing for easy adaptation to RECYFIX STANDARD 200 series channels without the need for complex transitions or adapters.

This system is ideally suited for locations requiring reliable water drainage while maintaining surface aesthetics. Due to the B 125 load class, the sump can be installed in the following areas:

It is worth noting that the use of a plastic sediment trap combined with a steel grate represents a compromise between durability and ease of cleaning. The entire system is UV-resistant, ensuring the preservation of mechanical properties over years of sun exposure without the need to replace structural components.
