RECYFIX STANDARD 200 manhole with galvanized sump and MW 30/30 grid grate
Load class B 125 (125 kN / 12.5 tons) indicates that the manhole is intended for installation in areas where light vehicles pass—passenger cars, delivery trucks, and service vehicles. It is not designed for heavy traffic and is unsuitable for expressways or logistics areas with fully loaded trucks.
The sump made of galvanized steel ensures corrosion resistance in humid conditions and areas exposed to road salt. Compared to plastic sumps, the metal component offers greater resistance to mechanical damage during installation and operation—especially with frequent opening or installation in hard-to-reach locations.
MW 30/30 grates feature a 30 mm x 30 mm spacing—dense enough to retain leaves, small stones, and debris, yet unlikely to clog during rainfall. Their design enables rapid water drainage, even under heavy precipitation. Compared to slot-type grates (e.g., SW), these grates are easier to clean manually or with a brush.
The high-quality polymer body features a ribbed structure that minimizes the risk of deformation under load. This is particularly important when installing on substrates with insufficient bearing capacity—for example, during sidewalk renovations or in locations where a full concrete base cannot be constructed.
The system is resistant to freezing, road salt, and UV radiation, meaning it will not crack or yellow after years of operation under Polish climate conditions. No special maintenance is required.
Outlet diameter: 200 mm—allows for the flow of large water volumes without risk of overflow. In practice, this means the manhole performs effectively even during sudden storms when other systems with smaller flow capacities may clog or leak.
Installation is simple: the sump is secured to the body using clamps—no welding or specialized equipment is required. It can be installed in new pavements as well as during the modernization of existing drainage channels.
Please note: although the sump is galvanized, it is not a "lifetime" solution. In extreme conditions (e.g., near the sea, where marine salt is more aggressive), periodic inspection of the coating condition is recommended.
