RECYFIX STANDARD 200 channel, type 010, with cast iron slotted grate, slot width 20.5, class C 250 40660
Drainage channel with cast iron grate, designed for load class C 250
The RECYFIX STANDARD 200 type 010 channel is a linear drainage system made of high-quality plastic, designed for operation in areas with heavy loads – such as parking lots, local roads, and commercial facilities. Its ribbed body construction prevents deformation under vehicle weight while maintaining stability during installation in asphalt or concrete.
Cast iron grates are a key component – in this case, the slot grate SW 20.5 (i.e., 2 x 85/20) ensures effective water drainage without the risk of clogging by small debris or leaves. Cast iron is resistant to cold, salt, and corrosion, ensuring the grate does not degrade even after many winter seasons. Compared to aluminum or galvanized steel grates, cast iron has greater mass and rigidity – resulting in better stability under the wheels of trucks and construction vehicles.
The channel has a clear width of 200 mm and a height of 185 mm – these dimensions allow for easy installation in existing structures and compatibility with most DN 100–150 drainage systems. High resistance to frost and UV radiation guarantees long-term functionality without the need for replacement.
The system is intended for installation in vehicle traffic zones – load class C 250 means it can withstand loads up to 25 kN (approximately 2.5 tons per wheel), corresponding to standard truck and construction vehicle traffic. Installation is simple: the channel is placed on a layer of concrete or asphalt and then secured using sumps or end walls (available separately). The grate requires no additional fastening – its mass and shape provide natural stabilization.
Note: although the channel itself does not include a drainage outlet – it is designed to work with sumps or end walls (e.g., type 010 with DN 100 outlet), which are installed separately. This allows flexible adaptation of the system to the existing sewer network.
