Linear Drainage for Sports Sand Pits

The SPORTFIX trough is a solution dedicated to athletics facilities, designed to effectively prevent sand from the sand pit from migrating onto the running track. Its construction not only cleans the surface but also protects the track from damage caused by dispersing material.

The lower element is made of high-quality plastic, resistant to weather conditions, impacts, and long-term loads. The trough bottom features a formed outlet spigot, allowing direct connection to the drainage network without additional components. One side wall of the trough is equipped with a metal profile, enabling safe and durable connection with the adjacent track, ensuring tightness and stability.

The cover, made of white plastic, is symmetrical and equipped with an automatic locking mechanism. It requires no tools for installation, remains securely in place even under intense activity, and allows easy access to the trough interior when cleaning is required.

The trough has a length of 500 mm, a clear channel width of 100 mm, and a height of 173 mm – dimensions selected to match standard spacing in sand pits. It can be installed in one or two rows around the jump pit, depending on project requirements. Elements can be cut on-site, providing flexibility when adapting to irregular pit shapes.

The system is compatible with SOFT curbs – their rubber cushion protects athletes from injuries upon contact with the sand pit boundary. The trough requires no specialized tools or complex installation; its light weight and simple construction ensure quick installation even on large facilities.
