This metered HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K control and power cable is a versatile solution for flexible power connections where medium mechanical load is required. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications, both in dry and humid environments, and also allows direct laying in the ground or pipes. Its construction and materials guarantee long-lasting and safe operation.
Construction and properties for professionals
The cable is characterized by a copper conductor, un-tinned, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0295 class 5, IEC 60228 class 5 and BS 6360 class 5. The core insulation is made of XLPE type DIX 3 according to UNE HD 603-1, which ensures high resistance to temperature and voltage. The outer jacket made of special PVC type DMV-18 (UNE HD603-1) protects the cable against UV radiation, making it ideal for outdoor applications and connections to mobile machines. The cable is available in a version with a protective conductor (G) or without it (X). The materials used are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. The cable has passed flame retardancy tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2.
