Product description

HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable is a flexible PVC cable designed for applications requiring both power and control. It is characterized by high resistance to external factors and is ideal for operation in various conditions - from dry rooms to direct laying in the ground. This cable is particularly recommended in the machine industry, conveyor systems, air conditioning units and industrial automation.

Construction and properties

The cable is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60502-1, UNE 21123-2 and UNE HD 603-1 standards. It has copper conductors, un-whitened, insulated with XLPE type DIX 3. Conductor identification is carried out in accordance with PN-HD 308 S2 (up to 5 conductors) or EN 50334 (above 5 conductors). The outer jacket is made of special PVC type DMV-18, which provides resistance to UV radiation, oil and other chemicals. This makes the cable perfect as a connection cable for mobile and portable devices.

• Flexibility: The cable construction provides high flexibility, making it easier to install and route in tight spaces.
• Resistance to external conditions: The PVC jacket protects against UV radiation, moisture and oils, allowing use outdoors and in harsh industrial conditions.
• Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties in the temperature range from -15°C to +90°C (stationary operation) and from -5°C to +90°C (flexible operation).
• Safety: The cable has a working voltage of 0.6/1kV and has been tested for flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1-2).
• Safety: Available with or without a protective conductor (G), allowing it to be adapted to specific installation needs.

Technical parameters and application

HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable with a cross-section of 4G25 mm² is designed for flexible power connections with medium mechanical load. It can be used both as a power cable and a control cable. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 10x cable diameter, and for stationary operation: up to 25 mm - 4x cable diameter; from 25 to 50 mm - 5x cable diameter; above 50 mm - 6x cable diameter. The weight of one meter of cable is approximately 1.45 kg and its outer diameter is about 23.5 mm. This cable finds application in many industries:
