SY-JZ 12G1 cable is a flexible cable with a steel braid, designed for use in machine construction, internal installations and power plants. The construction with 12 cores provides versatility, and the steel braid effectively protects against mechanical damage while maintaining the cable's flexibility. The cable is particularly useful in places exposed to intensive use and potential hazards.

Construction and properties

The SY-JZ 12G1 cable is characterized by a solid construction, designed for long-term and reliable operation. Copper cores, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl. 5, BS 6360 cl. 5 and IEC 60228 cl. 5 standards, are insulated with special PVC Z 7225. The cores are black with white numerical printing for easy identification. From the third core, a yellow-green protective core also appears. The galvanized steel braid, for corrosion protection, further strengthens the cable, and the transparent outer coating made of special PVC allows for visual control of the braid's condition. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs.

Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable has passed PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1 and DIN VDE 0472 part 804 (method B).

Operating parameters and applications

This cable is designed to operate in temperatures from -15°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +80°C (stationary). The rated voltage U is 500 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The minimum bending radius is 20 x outer diameter for flexible laying and 6 x outer diameter for fixed laying. The cable is resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad). This cable is used in internal installations of machines and equipment, where high flexibility and mechanical resistance are required. It is ideal where there is a risk of mechanical damage to cables or contact with chemicals.
