This 25-core flexible cable SY-JZ 25G1 is a robust solution for applications requiring mechanical and chemical resistance. The cable is designed for intensive use in mechanical engineering, internal installations and power plants. Its construction ensures reliability and long-term operation, and the transparent outer jacket facilitates visual inspection of the steel braiding.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction that provides high flexibility and resistance to damage. It is made of multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), twisted in parallel and numbered for easy identification. The cores are surrounded by an inner layer of PVC, then reinforced with a dense, galvanized steel braiding, which effectively protects against mechanical damage and corrosion. The transparent PVC outer jacket allows visual inspection of the braiding condition without the need for disassembly. This makes it easy to detect any damage and prevent failures.
The cable is resistant to oils and many chemicals, making it an ideal choice for industrial environments. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting. In addition, it meets the requirements of PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1).
Technical parameters and scope of applications
The SY-JZ 25G1 cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. Its rated voltage is 500V, and the conductor cross-section is 1 mm². The minimum bending radius is 6x cable diameter for fixed laying and 20x cable diameter during dynamic operation. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 18.6 mm.
