Flexible cable SY-JZ 4G1 – reliability and protection in harsh conditions

This flexible SY-JZ 4G1 cable with steel braiding is a solid solution for applications requiring high mechanical resistance and protection against external factors. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation. Multi-wire, flexible (class 5) copper conductors, insulated with PVC, are twisted in parallel, providing cable flexibility even with frequent bending. A key element is the dense galvanized steel braiding, protecting against corrosion, which effectively protects the cable against mechanical damage. The transparent outer PVC coating allows visual control of the braiding condition. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.

Technical parameters and application

The SY-JZ 4G1 cable has a conductor cross-section of 1 mm², a rated voltage of 500 V and four conductors with numbering for easy identification. It is designed for use in dry and damp indoor spaces and outdoors with protection against UV radiation. Thanks to its properties, it is perfect for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage – e.g. in machines and mobile equipment, production lines or building installations. The minimum bending radius is 6x cable diameter for stationary operation and 20x diameter for flexible operation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.3 mm.
