Flexible shielded cable for data and control transmission

This 25-core F-CY-JZ 25G0.5 cable is a reliable solution for transmitting signals in demanding industrial and electronic conditions. Designed for flexibility and resistance to interference, it is ideal for use in machines, control systems and computer applications. The cable is characterized by high quality workmanship and meets strict safety standards.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed with twisted copper strands, providing high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Each core is insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and black cores are clearly marked with white numbers for easy identification. The cores are arranged in parallel under an insulating foil, and the whole is surrounded by an effective copper braid screen, minimizing electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket is made of durable PVC TM2, providing protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 13.7 mm.

This cable also features resistance to oils and chemicals, which expands its range of applications. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting. In addition, the PVC coating is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, increasing safety – confirmed by tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1.

Applications and technical parameters

The F-CY-JZ 25G0.5 cable is primarily used as a cable for data transmission in control circuits of industrial machines and as a signal cable in computer systems and electronics. Thanks to the copper braid screen, it ensures stable signal transmission without interference – particularly important in environments exposed to electromagnetic interference.

This cable is characterized by a core cross-section of 0.5 mm², a rated voltage of 500 V and a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +80°C after installation and from -10°C to +80°C during installation. The core insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the screen is a copper braid. The cable has 25 cores and is classified as class 5 (multi-strand flexible).

It is worth remembering the manufacturer's recommendation regarding the optimization of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) by ensuring a wide, bilateral contact of the copper braid with the terminals – e.g. using appropriate cable glands. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
