Flexible shielded cable for industrial and control applications

This multi-core F-CY-JZ cable with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² is designed for data transmission in machine control circuits, computer systems and electronics. The construction with an insulating foil minimizes the outer diameter and weight, while the dense braid ensures reliable signal transmission without interference. The cable is particularly recommended in environments requiring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) – for optimization, it is recommended to ensure bilateral contact of the copper braid with the terminals.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on stranded copper conductors, insulated with PVC. The conductors are black with white numerical printing for easy identification. From 3 cores, a yellow-green protective conductor is also available. Twisted cores are additionally protected with an insulating foil and a screen of copper wires, which ensures high resistance to interference. The outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 guarantees durability and resistance to external factors. The cable is metered, which makes it easy to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs.

The cable is distinguished by a construction ensuring flexibility and reliability of connections thanks to the use of stranded copper conductors (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295). The insulation made of special PVC Z 7225 guarantees long-lasting insulation and safety of use. Effective protection against electromagnetic interference is ensured by a braid of copper wires (approx. 85% coverage). The outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 is characterized by resistance to abrasion, oils and chemicals. A wide range of operating temperatures – flexibly from -10°C to +80°C, stationary from -40°C to +80°C – allows the cable to be used in various environmental conditions. Universal application in low-voltage installations ensures a rated voltage of 500 V. Compact dimensions (outer diameter approximately 15.4 mm) facilitate installation in tight spaces.

The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that disrupt painting, and the PVC is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant (tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1).
