Control and power cable PVC, shielded F-CY-JZ 6G0,5 mm² grey, black numbered cores acc. to DIN VDE 0293-334 16324
Flexible shielded cable for industrial and control applications
This flexible shielded cable F-CY-JZ 6G0.5 with black, numbered cores is designed for data transmission in control circuits in mechanical engineering and as a signal cable in computer systems and electronics. The construction with an insulating foil minimizes the outer diameter and weight of the cable, while the dense braid ensures reliable signal transmission without interference. This cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction: unannealed copper cores, twisted strand class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228), PVC Z 7225 insulation, black cores with white numbers for easy identification. The strands are twisted in parallel and protected with an insulating foil and a screen of copper wires (coverage approx. 85%). The outer jacket is made of PVC TM2 (DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1/ DIN EN 50363-4-1) in gray (RAL 7001). The cable is supplied in meter lengths.
It is worth noting its resistance to oils and chemicals, as well as the absence of silicone and cadmium, which makes it safe to use. The materials used in production do not interfere with painting processes. PVC is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1.
Operational parameters and application
The F-CY-JZ 6G0.5 cable maintains flexibility in the temperature range from -10°C to +80°C, and after permanent installation it can operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C. The rated voltage is 500V (U0/U 300/500 V), and the test voltage core/core is 4000V, core/screen – 2000V. The minimum bending radius is 10 x outer diameter for flexible operation and 5 x outer diameter for fixed laying. The insulation resistance is min. 20 MOhm x km. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.6 mm with a core cross-section of 0.5 mm².
Thanks to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), this cable is ideal for applications requiring protection against interference. For optimal EMC, it is recommended to make a two-sided contact of the copper braid with the terminals (e.g. cable glands). The product meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
