Shielded flexible cable F-CY-JZ is a proven choice for use in machine building, control systems and electronics. Its construction with twisted copper strands, PVC insulation and a copper braid screen ensures reliable data and signal transmission, minimizing interference. This cable is characterized by high flexibility, resistance to oils and chemicals, and a wide operating temperature range.

Construction and properties

The F-CY-JZ cable is designed for demanding applications. Copper strands, made of twisted wire (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), guarantee good flexibility and mechanical strength. Each strand is insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and black strands are numbered with white digits for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (in versions from 3 strands upwards), ensuring safe use. Twisted strands in parallel under an insulating foil and a copper braid screen (coverage approx. 85%) effectively suppress electromagnetic interference. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating (TM2), in gray (RAL 7001).
