E-BUS/KNX cable for permanent installations

This black E-BUS/KNX cable with a cross-section of 2x2x0.8 mm² is designed for permanent installations in the ground, outdoors, and as a connection between buildings or elements of EIB/KNX systems. It is suitable for both concealed, surface-mounted, in cable ducts and channels, as well as in dry, damp or wet rooms. It can also be used outdoors, provided it is protected from direct sunlight. Thanks to the possibility of running alongside power cables, this simplifies the installation process.

Construction and application

The HELUKABEL® E-BUS / KNX ERD cable with PE coating is designed to control various systems in smart buildings – lighting, blinds, heating, ventilation or display boards. Its construction based on four cores (2x2) with a diameter of 0.8 mm ensures reliable signal transmission. The copper cores are PVC insulated and arranged in a star configuration for better resistance to interference. The whole is surrounded by an aluminum foil acting as a shield and an outer PE coating, resistant to weather conditions and mechanical damage. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.8 mm.
