This 20-core m.FLEX 512-PUR flexible cable is the ideal solution for demanding applications in mechanical engineering, robotics and anywhere the cable is exposed to frequent bending. Its construction is designed for long-term reliability in continuous motion conditions. Made from high-quality materials, including halogen-free polyurethane (PUR), it ensures safety and resistance to mechanical damage.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by exceptional flexibility thanks to the use of multi-wire class 6 cores and modified polypropylene (PP) insulation. The cores are twisted in parallel and protected with a special protective braid, which increases their resistance to tensile and abrasion. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to oils, chemicals, UV radiation and extreme temperatures. Additionally, the absence of halogens in the insulation minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire. The cable has cores marked with numbers for easy identification.

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The m.FLEX 512-PUR cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +80°C during dynamic installation and operation. Its rated voltage is 500 V, and the core cross-section is 0.75 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 13.5 mm. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21 / DIN EN 50525-2-21 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. Bending tests have shown a resistance to more than 10 million bending cycles using method H, which guarantees a long service life even in the most intensive applications.
