Its construction, based on highly flexible copper strands and modified PP insulation, ensures reliable operation even with frequent bending. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and other mechanical factors.

This cable is particularly recommended for use in energy chains, where high bending resistance and resistance to mechanical loads are required. The halogen-free insulating material increases safety in the event of a fire.

Construction and properties

The m.FLEX 512-PUR cable stands out with a careful construction that translates into its unique properties:

• Strands: Copper, un-tinned, twisted stranded – provide good conductivity and flexibility.
• Insulation: Made of modified polypropylene (PP) – guarantees good electrical insulation and abrasion resistance.
• Protective braid: Provides additional mechanical protection for the strands.
• Outer jacket: Made of polyurethane (PUR) – resistant to oils, abrasion, tearing and weathering.
• Halogen-free: Materials used in production do not contain halogens, which increases fire safety and minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
• Gray color (RAL 7001): Facilitates cable identification in the installation.

Thanks to this, the cable is characterized by high resistance to UV radiation, ozone, acids, alkalis and hydraulic fluids. It is also resistant to low temperatures and has high bending strength – tested by method H for approx. 10 million bending cycles.
