This multi-core flexible cable m.FLEX 512-PUR 36G0,5 is the ideal solution for dynamic applications in mechanical engineering, robotics and moving parts of machines. It is designed for repeated bending, ensuring reliability even in harsh conditions. Its construction with a slip-resistant PP core insulation and abrasion-resistant PUR outer jacket guarantees a long service life and minimizes the risk of damage.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, using twisted copper strands, flexible according to DIN VDE 0295 class 6, BS 6360 class 6 and IEC 60228 class 6. The core insulation is made of modified PP, and the cores are marked with white digits on a black background for easy identification. The yellow-green protective core is located externally (from 3 cores). A special protective braid increases the mechanical strength of the cable, and the polyurethane outer jacket provides resistance to abrasion, tearing and chemical influences. The cable is available in grey (RAL 7001) and is supplied in metre lengths.

Safety and compliance with standards

The m.FLEX 512-PUR cable is made of halogen-free materials, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic gases (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2). It complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Additionally, it exhibits high resistance to UV radiation, ozone, oils and acids and alkalis – making it a universal choice for a variety of industrial applications. The cable is weather resistant and UV resistant.
