This grey JZ-500 control and power cable with a cross-section of 1 mm² is a versatile solution for electrical installations, both in professional and domestic applications. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures safe and efficient power transmission in various conditions. This cable is particularly recommended for connections requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 cable is constructed in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards. It has 21 copper strands, multi-stranded and flexible (class 5), which facilitates installation and ensures reliable connections. The strands are numbered, which significantly simplifies identification during installation and subsequent maintenance. The strand insulation is made of PVC, and the outer jacket is also made of the same material (TM2 according to DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1/DIN EN 50363-4-1), which guarantees resistance to abrasion, moisture and UV radiation. The grey color (RAL 7001) makes it easier to identify in the installation.

This cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible), making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications (although not for direct exposure to the weather). The rated voltage U/U0 is 500/300 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The insulation resistance is min. 20 MOhm x km, which confirms the high quality of workmanship and safety of use. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x diameter for stationary operation.
