Control and power cable – reliability and flexibility in every circuit
This grey PVC JZ-500 cable with three 0.75 mm² conductors is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users. Designed for medium mechanical loads, it is ideal for installations requiring flexibility and reliability. Black conductors, numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334, facilitate identification and connection.
Construction and application – tailored to your needs
The JZ-500 cable is made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), both in the conductor insulation and the outer sheath. Compliant with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards, it guarantees safety and compliance with applicable regulations. It is a control cable that performs perfectly in dry, wet and humid rooms – although it should not be laid in the open air. It is suitable for flexible connections where there are no tensile stresses, as well as for control and measuring equipment in industrial devices.
- Flexibility: A special PVC mixture ensures easy installation and adaptation to various installation configurations.
- Durability: Resistant to weather conditions (in the temperature range from -40°C to +80°C after installation and -15°C to +80°C during installation) and mechanical damage.
- Safety: Rated voltage of 500 V (300 V U0) ensures safe operation of the installation.
- Identification: Numbered conductors facilitate correct connection and minimize the risk of errors.
- Versatility: Suitable for use in industry, construction and everyday devices.
Key parameters for professionals
The JZ-500 cable is characterized by an approximate outer diameter of 5.6 mm and a fire reaction class of Eca (according to EN 13501-6). The conductors are made of flexible stranded copper (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), which further increases their flexibility and resistance to damage. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km at a test voltage of 4000 V and a breakdown voltage of at least 8000 V. This makes this cable meet high standards of quality and safety. Additionally, it is resistant to radiation up to 80 x 106 cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad).
