This grey PVC control and power cable JZ-500 with seven cores of 0.5 mm² cross-section is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users. This cable is designed to operate in various conditions, providing safe and efficient power transmission in electrical installations. Black cores, numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334, facilitate identification and connection of individual wires.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 cable is characterized by a flexible construction with a stranded core (class 5), which makes it easy to route in tight spaces and provides resistance to bending. Core insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which provides good protection against mechanical damage and external factors. The outer jacket, also made of PVC, provides an additional layer of protection and resistance to oils and chemicals. The outer diameter of the cable is 6.7 mm.

This cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards, guaranteeing its high quality and safety. Fire reaction class Eca provides limited flammability in case of fire. The permissible operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C (during installation without vibration) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation, allowing it to be used in a wide range of environmental conditions. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V.

Applications

The JZ-500 cable is used in electrical installations in residential and industrial buildings, as well as in devices and machines. It is ideal as a cable for control and measuring equipment and in flexible connections where resistance to bending and twisting is required. It can be used in dry, wet and damp rooms (but not outdoors). Due to its flexibility, it is particularly recommended for connections of moving elements. It is a good choice where a cable with medium mechanical loads is needed.
