Control and power cable JZ-600 – reliability and flexibility in every application
JZ-600 5G1 mm² PVC cable is a versatile solution for control and power supply, designed for demanding industrial applications and electrical installations. It is characterized by high flexibility and durability, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end users. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures safe and reliable power transmission in various environmental conditions.
Construction and properties
The JZ-600 cable has five cores with a cross-section of 1 mm², made of stranded copper (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295). Each core is insulated with special PVC (TI2), and the black cores are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293, which facilitates identification and minimizes the risk of errors during installation. The protective core (yellow-green) is placed close to the outer jacket for increased safety. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of PVC (TM2), resistant to UV radiation and chemical factors.
This cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 1000 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km, which guarantees high insulation quality and safety of use. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0262 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-5 concerning insulation thickness for operating voltage of 1 kV.
Applications and benefits
The JZ-600 cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, steelworks, and in internal installations, air conditioning systems and control and signaling systems. It is ideal for flexible connections under medium mechanical load, where no tensile stresses occur. Possibility of laying in dry, humid and wet rooms, as well as outdoors (permanently laid), increases its versatility. In the case of an outer diameter equal to or greater than 18 mm, the cable can be laid directly in the ground – however, it is not suitable for laying in water.
- Easy core identification: Core numbering facilitates connection and minimizes the risk of errors.
- Mechanical strength: Resistant to mechanical damage thanks to solid construction and high-quality materials.
- Weather resistance: Outer jacket protects against UV radiation and the influence of chemical factors.
- Wide operating temperature range: Possibility of use in various environmental conditions.
- Safety: Meets the safety requirements of DIN VDE and IEC standards.
- Flexibility: Allows easy routing of cables even in tight spaces.
- Long-term operation: High quality of workmanship guarantees reliable operation for a long time.
