Control and power cable – reliability and protection in every application

This shielded JZ-600-Y-CY control and power cable is a solid solution for a wide range of electrical installations. Designed for use in both industry and construction, it provides safe and stable power supply and transmission of control signals. The cable's construction is designed for demanding working conditions, offering resistance to external factors and long-term reliability.

This cable complies with DIN VDE 0262, DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 and DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards, guaranteeing its high quality and safety. It is suitable for places exposed to medium mechanical loads, where flexible connections are required without the risk of stretching. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors – provided it is permanently laid. However, direct burial in the ground or immersion in water should be avoided.

Construction and properties

The JZ-600-Y-CY cable is characterized by careful workmanship and a well-thought-out construction. Seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², made of stranded class 5 wire (multi-strand flexible), provide adequate flexibility and mechanical strength. Each conductor is insulated with special PVC TI2, and black markings with white numbers make it easy to identify individual wires even after partial removal of the outer jacket – this is particularly important during installation and servicing. The protective conductor (yellow-green) placed close to the outer jacket further increases safety.

The braid screen made of tinned copper wires with high density effectively suppresses electromagnetic interference (EMC), ensuring stable transmission of control and power signals. The outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 is resistant to UV radiation and mechanical damage, extending the cable's life even in harsh weather conditions. In addition, the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.

This cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation, making it a universal solution for various industrial and construction applications. Its resistance to oils and chemicals expands the range of possible applications. The rated voltage U/U0 is 1000/600 V, and the insulation resistance is min. 20 MOhm x km – these parameters guarantee safe and reliable operation of the electrical installation.
