DMX Cable for Audio and Lighting Systems

This black, halogen-free HELUSOUND cable is a reliable solution for transmitting DMX and AES/EBU signals. The use of a spiral copper screen provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing stable and clean signal transmission. The cable is ideal for both permanent and mobile lighting and audio systems.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of high-quality materials, which translates to its durability and reliability. Copper conductors, not covered with an additional layer, are characterized by good conductivity. PE cellular insulation provides flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. Additionally, the use of FRNC (halogen-free) coating increases safety – in the event of a fire, it limits the emission of toxic gases. The cable construction includes two conductors (red and white) twisted with textile filling and an AL foil screen with a spirally braided copper shield, ensuring a high level of protection against interference.

Applications and technical parameters

The HELUSOUND DMX cable is perfect for stage, concert and lighting control systems. It can be used to connect digital audio amplifiers and in applications requiring stable DMX signal transmission. The maximum DMX transmission range is approximately 1000 meters. The cable meets IEC 60332-1A (flame test) and IEC 60754-2 (halogen-free) standards, confirming its safety and compliance with applicable standards. The impedance is 110 Ohm, and the conductor resistance is a maximum of 55 Ohm/km. The rated voltage is 300V, and the A/S and A/A test voltages are 1000V and 1000V (for the 2x0.34 version) or 2000V and 1000V (for the 4x0.34 version) respectively. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 5.6 mm.
