Construction and properties

The JZ-500 cable has 11 cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², made of stranded copper (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295). Each core is insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the black cores are numbered according to DIN VDE 0293-334 – this facilitates identification and improves installation safety. The protective core is yellow-green. The whole is surrounded by an outer jacket made of special PVC (TM2), which provides resistance to abrasion, moisture and the action of certain chemicals. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12 mm.

The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 4000V. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. Thanks to this, the cable meets the requirements of many applications where reliability and safety are needed.

Application and benefits

The JZ-500 cable is used in medium mechanically loaded flexible installations, in slowly moving systems, in dry, wet and humid rooms (but not in the open air). It is ideal for control and measuring equipment in industrial devices. Its flexibility makes it easier to route cables even in tight spaces, and resistance to oils and chemicals broadens its scope of application. Fire reaction class Eca provides additional safety in the event of a fire.
