This grey flexible M.FLEX 512-PUR 2x2.5 cable, with a rated voltage of 500V, is designed for demanding industrial applications and moving machine parts. The cable is made of halogen-free polyurethane (PUR), which increases safety in the event of a fire.
Construction and properties
This cable stands out with its special construction, which ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation in harsh conditions. It uses high-quality multi-strand copper conductors of class 6, providing high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The core insulation is made of modified PP, and each layer of twisted cores has a special protective braid (up to 4 mm² cross-section). The outer polyurethane (PUR) jacket is characterized by high resistance to abrasion, tearing, oils and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor arranged externally (from 3 cores).
A key feature of the cable is its slip-resistant TPE core insulation, which, combined with the cut-resistant and adhesion-resistant PUR jacket, ensures smooth movements and minimizes friction during repeated bending. This makes the cable perfect for chain applications and where there are high mechanical loads. The cable is metered for convenient installation and adaptation to installation needs.

The permissible ambient temperature during operation is from -40°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +80°C (stationary), and the test voltage is 3000V. The insulation resistance is at least 100 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 3 x cable diameter during fixed installation. The cable passed the bending test by method H for approx. 10 million bending cycles.
