Flexible control cable for demanding conditions

The PUROE-JZ 18G1 cable is a flexible cable with PVC insulation and a polyurethane (PUR) jacket, designed for use in areas exposed to abrasion, tearing, and contact with mineral oils and coolants. The use of high-quality materials ensures reliability and durability in harsh industrial environments. This cable is particularly recommended for flexible connections without tensile stress, both indoors and outdoors.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of 18 stranded copper conductors (class 5), insulated with special oil-resistant PVC. The conductors are twisted in parallel and surrounded by a flexible polyurethane (PUR) jacket, providing high mechanical and chemical resistance. The grey color (RAL 7001) facilitates identification. The conductors are numbered for easy identification during installation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone, and hydrolysis. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium, or substances that interfere with painting.

Applications and technical parameters

This cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, construction, rolling mills and steelworks, as well as in outdoor installations. Thanks to its flexibility, it facilitates quick installation even in hard-to-reach places. It is designed for medium mechanical load and operation at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -20°C to +80°C during dynamic operation. The rated voltage is 500 V, and the conductor cross-section is 1 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12.9 mm. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during dynamic operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed installation. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
