Flexible control cable PUR with numeric wire marking

This 25-core flexible cable, with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², is designed for applications requiring high mechanical and chemical resistance. Made of polyurethane (PUR), it ensures reliable operation in harsh industrial and installation conditions. This cable is particularly recommended for connections in machines, construction, rolling mills and steelworks, where it is exposed to abrasion, tearing and contact with oils and coolants.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on multi-wire copper conductors (class 5) insulated with special oil-resistant PVC. The wires are twisted in parallel and marked with white numbers for easy identification. The whole is surrounded by a flexible, gray (RAL 7001) polyurethane (PUR) coating, providing high resistance to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone, hydrolysis and microorganisms. The material does not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely match the length to the installation needs.

Operating parameters and safety

This cable maintains flexibility over a wide temperature range – from -20°C to +80°C during operation and from -40°C to +80°C during storage. It is designed to operate at 300/500 V and has passed voltage tests (4000 V) and breakdown tests (min. 8000 V). The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during operation and 4 x diameter during permanent installation. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
