Flexible cable for industrial applications and installations
This 5-core flexible cable with a polyurethane (PUR) jacket is designed to operate in demanding conditions where mechanical and chemical resistance are important. The cable is characterized by its high flexibility, which makes it easy to install even in tight spaces. This cable is particularly recommended for use in mechanical engineering, construction, rolling mills and steel plants, as well as in places exposed to contact with mineral oils and coolants. Thanks to its resistance to UV radiation, oxygen, ozone and microbes, it can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Construction and properties
The PUR-JZ cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free operation. Its construction includes:
- Multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), providing good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue.
- Oil-resistant PVC TI2 insulation – increases resistance to chemicals.
- Polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket – provides high resistance to abrasion, tearing and weathering.
- Cores marked with numbers – facilitate identification during installation.
- Yellow-green protective conductor (in versions from 3 cores) – provides additional safety.
In addition, the materials used to produce the cable do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable is metered for ease of use.
Technical parameters and application
The cable has a conductor cross-section of 0.75 mm² and is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 500 V. The permissible operating temperature range is from -20°C to +80°C during installation and from -40°C to +80°C after installation (without vibration). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.9 mm. The minimum bending radius during laying is 7.5 x cable diameter and after installation 4 x cable diameter. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-1 /DIN EN 50525-1 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. The cable is radiation-resistant up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad).
