PUR control and power cable, PURÖ-JZ 7G0,5 mm² grey, black numbered cores 22104
Flexible control cable PUR 7G0,5 – reliability in harsh conditions
This 7-core flexible cable with a polyurethane (PUR) jacket is designed for applications requiring high mechanical and chemical resistance. It is perfect for use in mechanical engineering, construction, industrial installations, and in places exposed to contact with oils and coolants. Its construction ensures reliable connections even in dynamic environments.
Construction and properties ensuring durability
The cable features a solid construction: multi-strand copper conductors (class 5) are insulated with special, oil-resistant PVC, guaranteeing long-lasting and safe operation. Parallel twisted cores facilitate installation, and the outer PUR jacket provides protection against abrasion, tearing, and weathering. The grey color (RAL 7001) makes it easy to identify the cable in the installation. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.
- Mechanical strength: The PUR jacket provides exceptional resistance to abrasion and tearing – ideal for use in moving parts of machines.
- Chemical resistance: The special PVC insulation is resistant to mineral oils and coolants, making the cable ideal for working in harsh industrial conditions.
- Flexibility: The twisted strand construction provides high flexibility, making it easy to lay the cable even in tight spaces.
- Safety: The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE).
- Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties in the temperature range of -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -20°C to +80°C during dynamic operation.
- Core identification: Digital markings on the cores facilitate the identification of individual conductors during installation.
The cable has a cross-section of 0.5 mm² per core and a rated voltage of 500 V. The outer diameter is approximately 6.7 mm. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during dynamic operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed laying. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 standards and has radiation resistance up to 100 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad). This makes it a trusted solution for demanding applications.
