Robust control cable for demanding conditions

This flexible PUR cable with copper conductors, with a cross-section of 1 mm², is designed for use in harsh industrial and construction environments. It is characterized by high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and the action of oils and coolants, making it an ideal choice for machines, installations in construction, rolling mills and steelworks. This cable is particularly useful where flexibility and resistance to mechanical stress without tensile stress are required.

Construction and properties

The cable has 7 cores, insulated with special oil-resistant PVC, ensuring reliable operation even in contact with chemicals. The cores are twisted in parallel and marked with numbers for easy identification. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) guarantees high resistance to UV radiation, ozone, hydrolysis and microorganisms. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting. The cable is metered and available in grey (RAL 7001).

Applications and technical parameters

This cable is used in both dry and wet installations, as well as outdoors. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-1 / DIN EN 50525-1 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. Thanks to the wide range of operating temperatures (-40°C to +80°C stationary and -20°C to +80°C flexible), it can be used in various environmental conditions. The rated voltage is 500V, and the outer diameter is 8.1 mm. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x diameter for fixed laying.
