Flexible cable for applications requiring high flexibility

This 16-core flexible cable JZ-HF 16G0,5 with a voltage of 500V is the ideal solution wherever exceptional flexibility and bending resistance are needed. It is suitable for mechanical engineering, robotics, device manufacturing, and strain-free flexible connections. Thanks to its construction with fine-stranded copper cores and special PVC insulation, this cable ensures reliable operation even with frequent movements.

Construction and properties

The JZ-HF 16G0,5 cable was designed for demanding applications. It consists of 16 copper cores, which are fine-stranded and twisted in parallel to increase flexibility. Each core is insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the whole is surrounded by a fleece braid and an outer PVC TM5 coating. The cores are black with white numbers for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.3 mm.

The cable meets DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards and is characterized by a wide operating temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installation and from -10°C to +80°C during movement. The test voltage is 4000 V, and the breakdown voltage is at least 8000 V. The materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, making it safe to use. It is also oil-resistant according to DIN VDE 0473-811-404 / DIN EN 60811-404. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for fixed installation.
