Flexible cable for applications requiring high flexibility
This JZ-HF 3G1.5 flexible cable is a reliable solution for installations in mechanical engineering, robotics and device manufacturing. Its exceptional flexibility makes it ideal for dynamic connections where standard cables might fail. The construction with fine-stranded copper conductors ensures long-lasting and safe operation even with frequent bending.
Construction and properties
The cable is designed for demanding working conditions. Made of high-quality materials, such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for both core insulation and outer jacket, it guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The cable cores are numbered for easy identification during installation. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor, ensuring safe use. A fleece braid reinforces the cable structure, increasing its strength.
- Flexibility: Special construction with fine-stranded conductors provides exceptional flexibility, making it easy to lay the cable even in tight spaces.
- Durability: Fleece braid protects the conductors from mechanical damage.
- Safety: Protective conductor (yellow-green) provides additional protection against electric shock.
- Resistance: Materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. PVC is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant (according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2 standards).
- Wide temperature range: The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C during stationary operation and from -10°C to +80°C during dynamic operation.
Technical parameters and application
The JZ-HF 3G1.5 cable has a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm² and is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 500 V. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 6.8 mm. It complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards, confirming its high quality and safety of use. Thanks to its construction, this cable is perfect for applications requiring frequent movements and bends – e.g. in cable chains (the rules for laying cables in such systems should be observed). It is also resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad).
