Flexible control cable for demanding applications
The JZ-HF 7G2.5 cable is a high-quality control cable designed for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to mechanical loads. It is ideal for use in mechanical engineering, robotics and in the production of devices where traditional cables may fail. Thanks to its special construction and materials used, it ensures reliable connections even in difficult conditions.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a multi-wire, flexible construction of copper conductors (class 6 according to DIN VDE 0295), which translates into exceptional flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. The core insulation is made of high-quality PVC (Z 7225), and the black cores are numbered for easy identification. In addition, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores), ensuring safe use. A fleece covering and an external PVC TM5 coating increase mechanical strength and resistance to external factors. The outer diameter of the cable is 12.2 mm.
The JZ-HF cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable is also resistant to oils and is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant (tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1-2).
Operating parameters and temperature range
The JZ-HF cable can be operated in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -10°C to +80°C during flexible installation and operation. The rated voltage U is 500 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 7.5 x cable diameter, and for fixed laying – 4 x cable diameter. The cable is resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad).
