Flexible shielded cable – reliability in motion

This flexible JZ-HF-CY 3G1 cable is the ideal solution wherever high flexibility and protection against electromagnetic interference are required. It is perfect for mechanical engineering, robotics, device manufacturing, and applications with medium mechanical stress. The screen in the form of a copper braided shield minimizes the influence of interference on signal and pulse transmission.

This cable is characterized by high-quality workmanship and compliance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -10°C to +80°C during dynamic operation.

Construction and properties

The JZ-HF-CY 3G1 cable has been designed for demanding applications. Its construction includes:

• Conductors: stranded copper, unannealed, multi-wire (class 6), providing good conductivity and flexibility.
• Conductor insulation: made of special PVC (Z 7225), resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage. Conductors are marked with colors (black with white numbers) and a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors).
• Screen: spirally wrapped braid of copper wires, providing effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). Shield coverage is at least 85%.
• Outer jacket: made of special PVC (TM5), resistant to oils and weathering. Grey color (RAL 7001).

Thanks to this construction, the cable is exceptionally flexible, resistant to radiation (up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg) and meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.

The JZ-HF-CY 3G1 cable is primarily used where high flexibility and resistance to interference are required:

Additionally, the minimum bending radius of the cable is 10x its diameter during dynamic operation and 5x when laid permanently, which facilitates installation even in tight spaces. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing of the required length.
