This multi-core JZ-HF-CY 4G2.5 cable is the ideal solution wherever high flexibility and protection against electromagnetic interference are required. The cable is designed for demanding industrial applications, robotics and the production of devices. Thanks to its special construction and high-quality materials, it ensures reliable operation even in difficult conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that provides exceptional flexibility and durability. It consists of four copper cores with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², insulated with high-quality PVC. The cores are twisted in parallel, which optimizes the pitch and minimizes the risk of mechanical damage. An inner fleece wrap and a screen of spirally wrapped copper wires (minimum 85% coverage) effectively protect against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating, resistant to abrasion and weathering. In addition, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor for increased safety.

The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable is tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1). It is also oil-resistant (DIN VDE 0473-811-404 / DIN EN 60811-404).

Technical parameters and scope of applications

The cable has a rated voltage of 500 V and a core cross-section of 2.5 mm². It is made of insulation and an outer sheath of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and its outer diameter is approximately 11.5 mm. The operating temperature range is from -10°C to +80°C for flexible operation and from -40°C to +80°C for stationary operation. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 5 x cable diameter for stationary operation.

This cable is perfect for installations in machines and equipment requiring frequent bends, e.g. in robotics, conveyors or CNC portals. Shielding ensures stable signal transmission in environments with a high level of electromagnetic interference. It is also a good choice for connections inside control panels and electrical switchboards. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing during assembly.
