Flexible cable for industrial and robotics applications

This JZ-HF 3x2.5 cable is a reliable solution for demanding applications where flexibility and resistance to mechanical loads are key. The cable is designed for machine building, robotics and the production of devices, as well as anywhere a highly flexible connection is needed. Its construction ensures durability and safety in dynamic working environments.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a multi-strand, flexible construction of copper conductors, insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The conductors are twisted in parallel and numbered for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 conductors), providing additional safety. A fleece braid and an outer jacket made of special PVC (TM5) guarantee resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. All this makes the cable exceptionally durable and reliable.

The JZ-HF cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and is characterized by a wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -10°C to +80°C during flexible operation. It is also resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (80 Mrad). The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting. The cable has passed PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1-2 standards. It is also oil-resistant according to DIN VDE 0473-811-404 / DIN EN 60811-404.

The cable has a conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm², a rated voltage of 500 V and an outer diameter of approximately 8.4 mm. The insulation and outer jacket are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The cable retains its properties in the temperature range of -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -10°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The cable contains three conductors, and from three conductors there is a protective conductor.

The cable is available in gray (RAL 7001) and supplied in meter lengths. The product has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
