Control and power cable for demanding applications
This flexible HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K control and power cable is a robust solution for power and control connections where reliability and resistance to harsh conditions are crucial. The cable is designed for medium mechanical load, and its construction allows for use in dry, damp and wet environments. The possibility of direct laying in the ground or pipes further increases its versatility.
Construction and properties for professionals
The cable is characterized by a construction compliant with IEC 60502-1, UNE 21123-2 and UNE HD 603-1 standards. Its copper conductors, un-tinned (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), are insulated with XLPE type DIX 3 (according to UNE HD 603-1). Conductor marking is carried out in accordance with PN-HD 308 S2 (up to 5 conductors) or EN 50334 (above 5 conductors). The outer jacket made of special PVC type DMV-18 provides resistance to UV radiation, oil and high operating temperature up to +90°C (flexible and stationary). The cable is available in a version with a protective conductor (G) or without it (X). Thanks to the fact that the materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, the cable does not interfere with painting processes.
Applications in industry and beyond
The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable finds application in a wide range of industries: mechanical engineering, conveyor systems, air conditioning units, industrial automation. It will work as a power or control cable where higher operating temperature or voltage is required. Additionally, thanks to its resistance to UV radiation, it is ideal as a connection cable for mobile or portable devices and machines. It can also be used in stage and lighting installations. The minimum bending radius is 10x the cable diameter for flexible applications and from 4x to 6x the diameter for stationary applications depending on the cable diameter. The cable has passed flame retardant tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN/IEC 60332-1-2.
