This flexible JZ-500 cable with orange, numbered cores is an ideal solution for applications requiring high reliability and resistance to external factors. Construction and properties
The JZ-500 cable is characterized by a solid construction. Multi-wire copper cores (class 5) provide good flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. PVC insulation Z 7225 provides effective protection against moisture and mechanical damage. The orange color of the cores with black numbers makes it easier to identify individual wires during installation and maintenance. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective core (JZ version), increasing safety. The outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 provides resistance to abrasion and chemical influences.
This cable is oil-resistant and resistant to chemical compounds, making it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable has been tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1 standards.
Technical parameters and application
The JZ-500 cable with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and a rated voltage of 500 V is intended for use in dry, damp and wet rooms (according to EN 60204 part 1 and VDE 0113 part 1 standards). It should not be used outdoors. Due to the orange color of the core insulation, this cable is particularly recommended for security systems. The permissible operating temperature of the cable is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation. The cable has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
