Flexible cable for industrial and installation applications
This JZ-600 3G10 cable is a robust solution for medium mechanically stressed flexible connections where tensile forces do not occur. It will work both in internal and external installations, as well as in difficult industrial conditions. The cable is particularly recommended for use in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, foundry and in air conditioning and control systems.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction ensuring high reliability and durability. Made of stranded copper conductors, insulated with special PVC (TI2) and surrounded by an external jacket of UV-resistant PVC. The conductors are black with white numbers – this makes it easier to identify individual wires even with partial exposure of the jacket. The protective conductor (green-yellow) placed close to the outer jacket provides additional safety. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0262 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-5 standards, which guarantees its high quality and safety. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.
Parameters and scope of application
The cable has a cross-section of 10 mm², rated voltage of 1 kV and an outer diameter of approximately 16.8 mm. The permissible operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C during flexible operation. It is resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation, making it an ideal choice for demanding work environments. It can be laid directly in the ground (with a diameter ≥ 18 mm), but is not suitable for laying in water. The cable is metered and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. Insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km, and test voltage is 4000 V. Minimum bending radius is 7.5 x Ø cable for flexible operation and 4 x Ø cable for fixed laying.
