Highly durable cable 1kV JZ-600 – reliability and durability in every application

The flexible JZ-600 cable is a proposal for professionals and end-users who need a reliable conductor with a cross-section of 95 mm². This cable is designed to operate in harsh conditions, both indoors and outdoors, providing safe and efficient power transmission. Made of high-quality materials, it guarantees long-term operation and resistance to mechanical damage and weathering.

Construction and properties

The JZ-600 cable is characterized by a solid construction. It is made of multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), which gives it exceptional flexibility. The core insulation is made of PVC (TI2) guaranteeing safe use and abrasion resistance. The cores are black with white numbers, which facilitates identification during installation – even with partial exposure of the outer jacket. The protective core (yellow-green) is located close to the outer jacket for quick access. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of PVC (TM2) in black color, resistant to UV radiation. The outer diameter of the cable is 51.7 mm.

This cable is also resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. The cable passed PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1 and DIN VDE 0472 part 804 (method B).

Applications and operating parameters

The JZ-600 cable finds wide application in the machinery, metallurgy, foundry industries and in internal and air conditioning installations. It will be perfect for medium mechanical loads where flexible connections without tensile stress are required. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms as well as outdoors (permanently laid). With an outer diameter of 18 mm or more, direct laying in the ground is permissible – however, it is not suitable for laying under water.

The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 V, and the operating temperature range is -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and -15°C to +80°C in flexible mode. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter in flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter in fixed laying. The cable exhibits radiation resistance up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad), and its insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km. The test voltage is 4000 V, and the breakdown voltage is minimum 8000 V.

The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). This product is particularly popular in Southern and Eastern European countries as well as in Arab countries.
