Construction and properties
The OZ-500 cable is characterized by a solid construction based on a multi-strand, flexible class 5 conductor. The conductor insulation is made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which provides good electrical insulation and resistance to mechanical damage. The outer jacket is also made of PVC (TM2 according to DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1/DIN EN 50363-4-1) further protects the cable from external factors. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 5.3 mm. The cable is resistant to oils and chemicals, which expands its range of applications.
Application and operating parameters
This cable is perfect for electrical installations in dry, wet and humid rooms (but not outdoors). It is intended for flexible connections in slowly moving systems where tensile stresses do not occur. It is ideal for control and measuring equipment in industrial devices. The permissible ambient temperature during operation ranges from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage U is 500 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible applications and 4 x cable diameter for stationary installations.
