This single-core blue cable, with a cross-section of 6 mm², is specifically designed for photovoltaic installations. Manufactured in accordance with EN 50618 standard, it provides reliable and safe connections in solar systems – for both installers and end-users. This cable stands out for its high resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation, guaranteeing long-lasting performance even in harsh outdoor environments.
Construction and properties
The H1Z2Z2K cable is characterized by a solid construction: tinned copper wire, flexible stranded class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228 ensures flexibility and ease of installation. Insulation made of cross-linked halogen-free material and an outer sheath of the same material enhance safety – in the event of a fire, this cable limits the release of toxic gases (compliant with IEC 60332-1-2). Additionally, the cable has a fire reaction class of Eca (CPR: Eca), which is important when designing installations in buildings.

Application and installation
The H1Z2Z2K cable is ideal for use in both outdoor and indoor installations. The possibility of direct laying in the ground (however, the use of protective pipes is recommended) increases flexibility during installation. The minimum bending radius is 3x the cable diameter, which makes it easier to route in tight places. It meets the requirements of protection class II in protection against electric shock, which further increases the safety level of the photovoltaic installation. This is a product compliant with the LVD 2014/35/EU directive.
